Anoushka Fernandes is a respected executive leader with over twenty-five years of professional experience in the public, private, and non-profit sectors.  Throughout her career, she has been recognized for her ability to successfully transform teams from good to great; and to provide calm and steady leadership in the face of chaotic situations.  She has supported teams to successfully navigate their way through physical and digital threats, disaster recovery, and organizational conflict. 

Based in her hometown of Edmonton, Anoushka founded Marcelino Marise Solutions in 2023.  The company name pays tribute to her father – and first teacher in entrepreneurship, holding firm to one’s values, and overcoming adversity.

Anoushka is passionate about building meaningful relationships and supporting others to reach their potential.  She believes it is essential to start by meeting others where they are – she has studied several languages and religions in her travels across Canada and around the world to better understand different perspectives.  She is a student of new technologies and is excited to help organizations harness the power of artificial intelligence to make their planning, decision-making, and operations more efficient.

Anoushka holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Native Studies from the University of Alberta, and is a Prosci Certified Change Management Practitioner.  In addition, she has received formal training in Crucial Conversations and group facilitation methods.
